IT Project Manager

Reports to: Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly organized and process-driven IT Project Manager to join our Managed Services team.

In this role, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing multiple IT projects for our clients using ConnectWise PSA/Manage or Kaseya Autotask.

A strong emphasis is placed on process compliance, consistent documentation in IT Glue, and ensuring that all projects are actively scheduled, communicated, and updated regularly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, manage, and oversee end-to-end IT projects, including infrastructure upgrades, cloud migrations, workstation deployments, and network implementations.
  • Ensure all project documentation—scope, configurations, credentials, diagrams, and SOPs—are fully maintained and updated in IT Glue.
  • Create, monitor, and enforce project workflows, templates, and processes to ensure standardization and efficiency across all engagements.
  • Use ConnectWise Manage or Kaseya Autotask to:
  • Create and manage projects, phases, tasks, and time entries.
  • Track and ensure all projects are delivered within scope, on time, and within budget.
  • Regularly update stakeholders on status and milestones.
  • Coordinate project scheduling with clients and internal resources; ensure that work is planned weeks in advance and regularly maintained.
  • Facilitate project kick-off, status, and closure meetings.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, roadblocks, and scope creep proactively.
  • Collaborate closely with sales, service desk, and engineering teams to ensure smooth project execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Enforce QA checks at key project milestones and post-project reviews to ensure quality and documentation completeness.
  • Continuously seek to improve internal project delivery processes; contribute to process development and enforce adherence across teams.
  • Lead internal project kick-off meetings, clearly defining scope, responsibilities, deliverables, milestones, and expectations.
  • Conduct regular project status meetings with technical teams to provide updates, identify roadblocks, and maintain momentum.
  • Track, assign, and follow up on action items resulting from meetings, ensuring accountability and timely resolution.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of project management experience in an MSP or IT services environment.
  • Strong experience with ConnectWise Manage/PSA or Kaseya Autotask.
  • Working knowledge of IT Glue or other documentation platforms.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple technical projects simultaneously.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with IT systems, cloud platforms (O365/Azure), and networking concepts is highly desirable.
  • PMP, Agile, or ITIL certifications are a plus.

What Success Looks Like

  • All projects are consistently delivered on time, within budget, and fully documented in IT Glue.
  • Project schedules are up-to-date with regular check-ins and progress milestones visible in ConnectWise.
  • Internal stakeholders and clients have clear visibility into project statuses.
